Position Overview

United Sires is seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will provide consultative sales support to dairy accounts in assigned regions, leveraging your established network and experience to build lasting relationships with clients. You will be responsible for demonstrating the value of our program offerings to increase and maintain sales in your designated region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consultative sales and support to dairy accounts in assigned regions
  • Identify new sales targets and demonstrate the value proposition of our genetic programs to grow the business
  • Develop written and digital reports promoting United Sires as a leader in optimizing profitability for dairies through genetic, reproductive, and management programs
  • Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships through excellent customer service, value-added services, and technical support
  • Build United Sires brand image on dairy farms as a respected member of the dairy management team
  • Enhance customer profitability through genetic progress, optimized reproductive success, and technology implementation

Expectations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Dairy/Animal Science or related field
  • 2-5 years of consultative sales experience in the dairy industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to analyze dairy record herd management software (e.g., Bovisync, DairyComp305, PCDART, etc)
  • Knowledge and experience with large, progressive dairy herds
  • Expertise in dairy business, management, genetics, and reproduction
  • Goal-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales targets
  • Outstanding communication skills in English; Spanish language skills a plus
