Position Overview
Lead our domestic dairy genetics sales organization, driving revenue growth through strategic B2B relationships with dairy operations and the development of new enterprise accounts across the territory.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute B2B sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Lead and coach a small team of regional sales / business development individuals
- Create territory plans and account strategies for key dairy & genetic operations
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with large dairy enterprises
- Drive new account acquisition through systematic prospecting
Business Development & Account Growth
- Identify and pursue new account opportunities
- Develop account penetration strategies for existing customers
- Create and implement account growth plans with measurable KPIs
- Build C-suite relationships within major dairy operations
- Establish long-term strategic partnerships with key accounts
- Design and execute account expansion programs
Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain executive-level relationships
- Create strategic account plans for top-tier clients
- Implement relationship mapping within complex organizations
- Lead quarterly business reviews with key accounts
- Establish multi-level engagement strategies
- Foster long-term partnership development
Team Management
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales professionals
- Set performance goals and conduct regular reviews
- Manage sales quotas and compensation plans
- Foster a high-performance sales culture
- Train team on B2B sales methodologies
Leadership
- Maintain deep knowledge of dairy genetics and breeding programs
- Provide guidance to the sales team
- Collaborate with geneticists and veterinarians
- Support complex customer genetic planning needs
- Develop value propositions for enterprise accounts

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience in agriculture industry
- 2+ years of enterprise account management experience
- Proven track record of new account development and growth
- Strong understanding of genetics in the dairy industry
- Experience with complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
